𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐘𝐌𝐀 Dance Company is a visionary performance collective, comprised of professional ballerinas, bellydancers, and character actors. Featuring original choreography, artistic composition and handmade costuming by directors Tracy Windisch, Marlowe Bassett and Aradia Sunseri. 

Taking you on a unique journey of creation, trial, and growth; the dance between the Gods of the Old Norse pantheon and the humans they created to complete the world they designed. An age-old story told through dynamic choreography, stunning tableaus, and ritual character play.

Human life rising from the primordial abyss of nothingness.

The breath of life from Odin, the All father. Embla, the first woman, breathed to life in the body of an Alder tree. People. Dancing through the body, the bones of Midgard, the Earth. The animal senses. Instinct. 

The influences of the gods, Odin, Loki, Freya, Thor. Working through the forces of creation to influence life on Earth. Each one with his own plan, each weaving within his own destiny. Blessings, shape shifting, magic, and seduction sway the souls of the humans, teaching them the ways of the mind and heart. Showing right from wrong, strength from weakness, love from fear. 

Rising up, moving above the roots and the soil of life into the heart and spirit.  Living in the image of the gods, finding the power of will within the dreams of the Aesir. Covered in the gold of the divine spark of life which originally transcended them from earth and bark. Embracing the wholeness of potential.

A story of the inner struggle to achieve the greatness that the gods have in mind for us, while deeply feeling into our oneness with the Earth. The push and pull of the fates. And our own will to be the creating force of our reality.

Dreyma Dance is seeking a musical collaborator/s to work with us on a score for live and virtual productions!

Dreyma has a very Nordic flavor, we have so far worked with a blend of old world organic instrumental and vocal music mixed with electronic beats. 

We are seeking someone who writes their own music who feels inspired by this theme and our company’s vibe.

As we continue to book larger shows and create our own videos we want to work directly with a musical artist so the path is wide open for our work.
